Kuranda neighbours many beautiful and iconic destinations such as Cairns and the Tablelands. Beaches, waterfalls, and islands can all be accessed from Kuranda, and all within a few hours’ drive.

Mareeba and the Tablelands are renowned for their fresh produce and products that are grown and prepared locally. From coffee, chocolate, and dairy products, to spirits, liqueur, and beer, there is a wide range of quality local products right at your doorstep. Make an experience out of it and visit the farms directly to learn about or get involved in the process of making the products (and to eat them of course!).
